Global Trading makes it possible to conduct the entire import process, from its purchase abroad to the delivery of the product to its final destination – designated by the customer, which can be carried out through two types of modalities: Import by “Account and Order of Third Party” or Import by “Order”. With its offices in the United States of America and Asia, the trading company differentiates itself in the market by centralizing all processes, reducing the final cost to the customer, searching for the best sources and pre-shipment control and inspection.
In addition to the central distinction in imports, Global Trading includes in its structure the best market practices in services such as: international negotiation with foreign suppliers; customs clearance; applied logistics in monitoring the entire service chain and offering competitive freight; operational, tax and fiscal advice; structuring and whole coordination of operations, consulting the tax classification of goods; issuance of import licenses with the competent bodies; foreign exchange contracting; opening of letter of credit; storage, handling in primary and secondary area; commercial feasibility studies, evaluation of special customs regimes and operations projects (temporary admission, bonded warehouse, DTA, DRAWBACK and among others).
In order to leverage the business of Brazilian companies and promote national mercantile development, Global Trading, in association with Brazilian manufacturing companies and producers, helps in the search for new foreign markets with its experience and operations in the main international markets.
The viability of the export project is achieved through Global Trading’s complete range of services, via: assistance in international negotiations; market feasibility survey and study; structuring of sales and logistics in foreign countries; examination of terms and conditions of international contracts; preparation of documents inherent to the export process; execution of tax obligations and customs clearance; advice on special customs regimes; evaluation of national and international freight according to the competitive offer; and coordination of all service providers involved.
Allowing the manufacturer or producer customer to remain focused on production and, this way, entrusting Global Trading with the task of achieving its internationalization projects and distribution of its products in the foreign market.
Through the concession of the State of Paraná in Brazil for the ICMS tax benefit, a reduction in the rate of incidence of said tax is granted, as well as its deferral, for goods imported for resale or permanent assets carried out by commercial establishments and not industrial taxpayers of the tax whose entry takes place through ports, airports, customs stations in Paraná territory or by Paraná border on land routes – in this case, there is a requirement that the goods be accompanied by the certificate of origin from Latin American countries.
However, the degree of reduction and deferral of the tax are linked to the type of product to be imported and the nature of the operation subsequent to the importation. Thus, in order for the taxpayer to enjoy the aforementioned tax benefit, the dispatch, regarding customs clearance, must take place in the State of Paraná.
In order to make foreign trade and/or internationalization projects viable, consequently, aiming to boost the market in which it operates – domestic or international – and the profitability of its customers, Global Trading develops a meticulous planning based on the best administrative and foreign trade practices in use, together with the careful evaluation of all the variables that cooperate for the success of the internationalization project. In this sense, the consultancy functions are based on the following practices:
• Comprehensive evaluation of client’s export/import projects;
• Guidance on the procedural and documentary aspects of foreign trade;
• Study of project logistics and product distribution.
• Economic and operational feasibility analysis;
• Market research of the product and competitors;
• Development of new markets;
• Assessment of risks and opportunities;
• Representation at international fairs.
As a direct result of the experiences acquired in export and import operations and international advice on foreign trade projects, Global trading also seeks to offer greater added value in the service with the commercial representation operation in the domestic and international market of its clients and international partners.
Benefit achieved thanks to the presence of the trading offices in the main international markets, together with consultants and foreign and national logistics partners cooperating in this type of operation; in this way, enabling a greater range of activities and offering services to clients in the representation of Brazilian companies abroad, advising on the identification of commercial opportunities and on-the-spot perception of marketing particularities, allowing for greater security in accessing the foreign market.
